Community Moderator - doctoroz.com (The Dr. Oz Show)


The Community Moderator will be responsible for overseeing all of the day-to-day community generated content on doctoroz.com. He/She will run a group of moderators to make sure that all user activity on doctoroz.com meets show standards. The community moderator will be responsible for establishing moderation work flows. He/She will also help to establish and update all ongoing modifications to the house rules. Candidate will have experience with community moderation, exhibit excellent judgment, and be a proven manager.




Responsibilities:

Oversee moderation of all message boards, comments, and user-generated content on doctoroz.com

Establish effective moderation work-flow for all moderators.

Train and manage a moderation team.

Help define and develop all future community rules and procedures

Use and modify existing content management system to moderate content



Qualifications:

BA or BS

At least two years experience in community moderation

Previous experience using a content management system

Proven track record as an effective manager

Excellent knowledge of community sites and rules

Excellent judgment
