NBC Page Progams

There are many entry level programs to help you get into the televison industry.Competion is stiff but these are worth while programs. You can connect with industry veterens to gain knowledge that just can't be learned in college. Some of these programs do not have age limitations. You may be an older student trying to break into the industry. This is a good way to get your foot in the door. Good Luck!

NBC Universal East Coast Page Program

The East Coast Page will liaise between the public and NBCU by conducting the NBC studio tours and facilitating audience services. The East Coast Page will also have the opportunity to apply and rotate through various parts of our business focusing on publicity, marketing and news production.
Essential Responsibilities Conduct studio tours ensuring learned material is accurately and concisely communicated to approximately 500,000+ visitors a year

Work closely with East Coast Studio Operations, The NBC Experience Store, and TV Operations and Production Services to ensure quality and customer satisfaction

Facilitate audience services for various NBC Universal television shows; additional audience services support for specialty shows required

Rotate through various parts of our business in order to meet the needs of each department (rotations are determined through interview process and are not guaranteed)

Participate in required trainings, seminars and one-on-one meetings addressing career development and performance excellence

Qualifications/Requirements BA degree in Communications, TV/Film, Broadcast Journalism, etc.

3.2 GPA or greater

Media related internship or work experience

Strong Microsoft Office Skills: Power Point, Word, Excel and Outlook

Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work. Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.
Desired Characteristics Strong written and interpersonal skills

Proven ability to command the attention of large groups of people

Deep understanding of the Media industry and progressive nature of ever-changing media landscape

Ability to meet deadlines
