One door closes...and another one opens...

What happens when one door closes? Another one opens, God sometimes allows a door to close so that you can go into a new season. So don't look at a layoff as a bad thing, it is time to reinvent your self!! Be positive, upbeat and expect great things. Thank your old employers or old opportunity because they just opened the door for great possibilities. Sometimes people will try to put you in a place that you just don't fit--it's time to find where you do fit. Go back to school, find a job you love or just follow your passion. A closing door can just be the thing you need to get to your true destiny.....as always Happy Hunting!! Today is a new day!

New Year, New Month, New Possibilities!

I am trying so hard to make good on  my promise to post more often. I am still enjoying the freelance life--so I need extra hours in the day. My new word of advice to people that have been in the work field but are looking is to volunteer. I know--working for free is not so easy but you can form valuable retationships that can later turn into a fulltime job!! A person that is dependable and keeps their word is a shoe in for a full time position. Employers will think of you when there is a position that is not posted yet. You can get your name in the pot and people that have worked with you will have great things to say!! So Happy Volunteering!!! I also posted some paid opportunites!
