Intern,Intern,Intern

Did I say Intern? An intership is a great way to decide what you what to do in the field. You might intern and find that you hate the day to day duties of your dream job. You might come across a position you did not even think of while interning. Even if your school does not require an intership-get one anyway. The more the better. Sometimes you can make a contact thar will hire you after graduation. Here is an internship with Lionsgate:

Details: LIONSGATE is the leading independent filmed entertainment studio with a strong and diversified presence in motion pictures, television programming, home entertainment, family entertainment, video-on-demand and digital distribution of content.





Interns will be expected to help with daily breaks and clippings, as well as coordinating the media library, organizing title publicity, researching and updating press lists, assisting with talent appearances/press functions, as well as help with phones and mailings and any other administrative tasks as needed. Interns will gain an overall understanding of how publicity and marketing works in the studio system, in addition to working in a team environment. We are looking for a student with an interest in entertainment, a great attitude and a desire to learn about film publicity in a fun, yet fast paced environment. Creativity, initiative, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task are considered a plus.





Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited college and must be able to receive school credit for the internship. Proof of credit must be shown on the first day.
