Freelance Writer/Investing Nerd

This is a freelance, offsite writing opportunity. The Motley Fool (www.fool.com) is dedicated to providing daily stock commentary. Our Investment Writers are responsible for researching and writing Fool.com content, with a particular focus on stock/company analysis. The writer will balance factual analysis with the Foolish mission of education, amusement, and enrichment.

Relevant content includes reporting and analyzing quarterly earnings and other newsworthy events; in-depth analysis of a particular company and/or sector; and analytical coverage of other investing or macroeconomic issues. In addition, the Investment Writer will work with the rest of the staff in a team environment to help develop and implement new market-related content. The Investment Writer must be able to take complex investing issues and translate them to our audience through clear language with a touch of humor, fun, and pizzazz when appropriate (and that's most of the time).
