In my quest to become a freelance writer, I have been burned! I have written for people who dont pay!! I have written for pennies!! I chalked it all up to paying dues. So I ask where in the world does one find freelance writing jobs?? I did a little searching and this is what I have come up with!!Other writers feel free to chime in.



Freelance Journalist with IT Channel Experience

Description:

ConnectWise is seeking a journalist with expertise in the Information Technology channel, specifically with Managed Services providers who market to Small to Medium-Sized Businesses.



Summary/Objective:

We are looking for a journalist who will produce compelling feature stories, case studies, web content.

Ability to work on manage multiple deadlines

Diplomacy, when it comes to interviewing clients and senior management

Drive program for winning industry awards, favorable mentions, and business/industry accolades.

Interface with internal groups to synchronize marketing and PR materials

Stay current on public relations tools, best practices and how other organizations and companies are using them, so that ConnectWise can continue to be an early adopter of these opportunities.

Monitor IT service provider channel public relations activities.

Work with the Senior Analyst, Business Intelligence to optimize all brand communications with search engine optimization (SEO).

Education:



Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism or Communications

MBA or other Master Degree desirable

Experience:



5+ years journalism

Reporting experience with professional services firm or software company delivering software implementation services, or similar industry experience is preferred.

 Web Content Writers needed in Downtown Baltimore. Candidates must be flexible and available onsite on a per project basis during normal business hours up to 25 to 35 hours per week. Requirements:
